Participant COVID Safety Protocols

Food, Faith and Farms Conference 2021

We are looking forward to hosting a friendly, comfortable in-person conference. Mask-wearing and other protocols are designed to protect health and safety of participants who will include seniors.

  1. Participants are required to wear a mask unless eating, drinking, or presenting regardless of vaccination status per the health order issued by Marin County Health and Human Services on August 2, 2021.
  2. Participants will complete a simple health and safety questionnaire before entering the conference facility.
  3. We are arranging tables and seating to support social distancing.
  4. Our expectation is that participants who attend in-person will be vaccinated, but we do not currently have plans to require vaccination cards or other ‘proof’.
  5. We are working with the Boro Center to be sure to provide maximum ventilation. (Rooms have windows, and climate control so staff will make final decisions based on weather the day of the conference.)
  6. For farm and garden tour participants carpool/vanpool transportation will only be provided for vaccinated participants. Increased ventilation efforts and mask mandates for all participants will be enforced.
  7. Participants will respect the health and safety of all attendees. Failure to comply with these shared group understandings may result in being asked to leave.

Note: Updated 8/20/2021. Protocols may be updated to reflect guidance from Marin County Health and Human Services or other authorities.
